With vision and compassion, Larry Nygard has been a noteworthy leader in development for over 30 years. Real estate and development have always been a passion of Larry’s; learning construction skills from his father at an early age and purchasing his first rental property at the age of 19.
Larry earned an accounting degree from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, became a CPA and worked for Eide Bailly before forming his own development company in 1987. The company’s initial development projects were the Pioneer Plaza Building in downtown Fargo and the Rose Creek Golf Course and housing development. He has since been involved in numerous developments totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.
Larry is currently a board member of the North Dakota Housing Finance Advisory Board where he represents homeowners and buyers. He is active in many community non-profits sharing his gifts in finance, administration and strategic planning. Marsha, his faithful hunting dog, will tell you that Larry is dedicated to every thing he serves but when he’s not working, he can be found enjoying time with his family outdoors, at the lake or hunting.
