For over 20 years, Shane Roers has been a noteworthy leader in the construction industry. You may know him from his work as the President of Roers West, but Shane can also be credited with contributions to his volunteer work in the Dickinson community including Dickinson Outlaw Hockey, Dickinson Catholic Schools, and a variety of fundraising efforts.
Serving as President of Roers West, Shane takes on challenging responsibilities, such as Business Development, Owner and Subcontractor relationships and overall team development. During his tenure, his team has successfully completed several valuable projects, including Roers Hall at the University of Mary campus, Wyoming Casing buildings in Williston and Dickinson, Martin Construction office and shop, and the Beulah Wellness Center.
As part of the Roers family, Shane was born into the family business and began working with the company during his high school years. He learned the construction business from the ground up and following graduation, he attended The University of Minnesota – Crookston where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing. He returned to Roers as a project manager and was later promoted to senior project manager.
Dickinson became Shane and his wife, Lisa’s, home in 2010 when the Roers West offices opened. When not working, Shane enjoys hunting, hockey, camping with his wife and four boys and questioning why people do stupid things like wearing Speedos.
