A groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 10 am on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, to celebrate the future construction of the Missouri Slope North Campus. This Phase I of construction will feature the Skilled Nursing Facility and Town Center.

Roers Construction and Development teams will work collaboratively with Pope Architects on the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center located in Bismarck, ND.  Both Roers and Pope Architects have vast experience in building senior housing facilities. The first phase which will be unveiled at the ground breaking ceremony is a 207,000 sf building, four-story building with 192 beds featuring a chapel, beauty salon, nurses stations, kitchens on each floor, and much more.  Phase I is anticipated to be completed by October 1, 2021.  “This project will meet the needs of current and future residents.  As the only locally owned Long Term Care organization, we are blessed to have great support from our churches and community members.  This project will allow us to be successful for the next 50 years” says Reier Thompson, President/CEO of Missouri Slope.
