5 fun things to update you on

1. Official Student Housing Partner of NDSU Athletics

As the Official Housing Partner of NDSU Athletics, Roers is able to provide excellent housing options for students near NDSU. We have a unique offering different from our competitors, as we not only manage the residential properties around campus, we designed and built many of them. We look forward to this partnership and providing a great convenient place for students, athletes and faculty to live.

We are excited to announce a campaign to showcase our properties around campus. One lucky student will receive a $5,000 scholarship! Students could participate in the Apartment Passport Tour by registering on the landing page on the NDSU Athletics website. Students were required to take in-person or virtual tours at U32, T Lofts, Townhomes, SGC and The View. Participants who submit their completed passport after touring all five were  entered into the $5,000 scholarship drawing. The winner will be announced on April 17 so be sure to watch our social media for the announcement. Go Bison!

2. real estate & employee perks

Spring is in the air, which means it is a very busy time for people to start thinking about moving. Anne Kallhoff with Roers Real Estate has over 13 years of experience in the industry. She has extensive knowledge in our communities and is here to help employees, friends and family. Whether it is through the buying or selling process, Anne can help walk through the process to make it as simple as possible.

As a Roers employee, if you work with Anne, you can receive a $500 closing credit. That’s a great perk to enjoy!

Exciting news coming soon! Watch for details on other benefits you can receive for making referrals to Roers Real Estate for family, friends or neighbors who are buying or selling their home.

3. Bremer Bank

The Bremer Bank on 45th Street in Fargo remodel project was recently completed.  One of the main goals for this building was to not just modernize the facility, but to implement new design concepts to help better serve the Fargo community. This new remodel included three openings cut-in the second floor with a beautiful glass railing and a self-supporting staircase. Allowing the building to look more modern and open.

Some exterior work including the parking lot, landscaping, concrete work and installing the flag pole will be completed this spring.

4. Missouri Slope

The Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center project in Bismarck is moving along. The crew has started the finishes in two of the wings and the connecting link.

Work on the elevator started the week of March 22nd. With spring and nice weather in store, site work is scheduled to start preparing for the east side parking  and the loading dock. The landscaper is scheduled for April and furniture is schedule to be delivered in June.

This project is a fast-paced large scale project. Phil Keller commented, “Working with the group of professionals we have in Bismarck and Dickinson, between the Roers offices and the Missouri Slope teams has been a real pleasure.”

5. the cape at savona

Roers Development recently successfully completed the development and construction of The Cape At Savona Point Apartments. CORE VALUE CATCH

Check out how our employees have been living out our core values at work!

opportunity

believe all possibilities are endless.

respect

do the right thing.

expertise

keep learning

experiences

providing premier service.

community

give back & give often.

partnership

trust that long-term relationships matter.

Opportunity
Jerry Schiff has recently become a full time PM and is eager to learn from others. He has been helping to put together spreadsheets for the Esser Projects for us. He loves to draw on other's experience in order to find new opportunities.
Respect
Matt Thomas is always helping every PM, Super, Admin etc with questions/issues that arise. He is very much a team player and helps everyone out all the time.
Expertise
With the staff changes, we have had a lot of account errors and Angie & Mataya have just dug right in and helped get to the bottom of what is going on and if items pulled correctly from our old software.
Experiences
We had a U32 resident with a bird caught in their vent for a couple days. Madison and Kelsey used some creative thinking to figure out a way to get the bird out of her vent and get it back outside. The experience that they gave the resident was outstanding! The resident went from tears and anxiety to grateful and happy!
Partnership
Mark saw we were in need of help when it came to our HIF unit reporting. No questions asked he jumped right in and helped figure out the reporting for us. So appreciated the help as his ability to teach us what he learned along the way.
Partnership
Brooks has been proactive at looking for upcoming jobs in the paper as well as on the web for us to continue to bid work

"I haven't worked with Derek much in the past, but since he has been working at Pulver Hall, I've come to see his talents and enjoy having him on the job. He is willing and wants to learn and he doesn't mind teaching thing he knows to the other crew members. Thanks for sharing your experience in a respectful way!"

Michelle Lenk

fargo

property ambassador

"Michelle has transitioned and taken on the opportunity to join our South Fargo team, has had to learn a whole new portfolio and has done it with grace. She has dove right in to learn all properties. The experience she gives to our current residents and prospects is outstanding. We have received multiple reviews on how excellent her customer service has been. She is so timely on getting her work done and I trust that anytime I need something done, she will jump right on it. She has been a tremendous asset to the South Fargo team and we are grateful she accepted the opportunity."

Shannon Thornton

property management

fargo

property marketing coordinator

"Shannon has vastly become an expert in our new software AppFolio. She continues to dive in to figure out issues and share with the team so we can all learn together. There are so many fine details when it comes to marketing our properties and also many hiccups we have had along the way. Shannon takes it with a grain of salt and pushes through to figure out what we need to do in order to make sure we are marketing our units to best of our ability and sharing the most accurate info. I am so thankful for her and her attention to detail to be able to get a project like this completed!"

Danny Wang

maintenance shop manager

"Danny is someone that gets the job done. Reliable, professional and courteous are all words that come to mind when thinking of him. Specifically for our team, Danny has helped the marketing team on some of our crazy requests. He assists with moving signage, building sign frames if we don't have the right size on hand, delivering things to project sites and more. We are thankful for everything he assists with and that we can rely on him."
